In Elko, there are only two punctuation marks: the dot and the comma (even if '?' and '!' can also be used). To mark the type of sentence we use the last vowel of the sentence:

a: exclamatory sentence
e: interrogative sentence
i: injunctive sentence
o: declarative sentence

If the sentence doesn't end with the desired vowel, you can add it as a final particle. But it is also possible to use a -n which allows to take the suffix of the preceding word.
